One of my fave blog reads is “Our Awesome Planet”
by Anton Diaz. Once I saw an entry about a nice stay at San Pablo, Laguna which boasts of a breathtaking view of the Sampaloc Lake and delicious food. For the longest time, I really wanted to go to that place since I’m very much familiar with the San Pablo area as it is just two towns away from Candelaria, Quezon – my dad’s hometown. Amidst the business at work at school, I gave myself a well deserved break and went there (this was two weeks ago – I only got to blog about it this time). The place was a relaxing place to stay. Too bad they already closed the restaurant – and so we were only served breakfast. But then, it was a small town and finding a place to eat wasn’t difficult. It was a big house which the family decided to convert into a hotel. I found the place serene. So far this year, Subic. Laguna and Tagaytay had been a regular visit for me. Next year, I plan to travel more and hopefully, all those plans will push through.
